Alvaro i saw one picture of yours with the rear axle and its custom joint...

the tubes are made of steel and you can weld very strongly whatever iron and steel you like but the central group that contains the carrier is from cast iron and welding is a matter there (actually you can weld cast iron with tig and a specific electrode.)
The safest path if you like is to make a bow from steel tube and weld it with your custom joint.

the tension in that joint is extremely large and violent some times so we mast take all measures.
