Under body plate to protect gearbox

Hi,

Has anyone made their own under body plate for engine / gearbox / transfer box?


I know you can buy 3mm steel ones however i would prefer to laser-cut a 6mm aluminium one as they are lighter and more forgiving.

Just asking before I measure up the underneath to make a CAD .DXF

Dear Bob, we have made plates for our cars and a Greek company makes them for us, see here:

Vitaraclub.gr has the copyrights of Drawings and we cannot give them, sorry for that.
You can order them, like every user of Vitaraclub does, but I think that it will cost you a lot of money from Greece to Australia.

Also you will see in Offer, that we have not make drawings for NGV Diesel 3Door, because we don't have that model in Greece.
